PHC Holdings Corporation Supports W20 JAPAN 2019
PHC Holdings Corporation (headquarters: Minato-ku Tokyo, Japan, hereafter PHCHD) announces its cooperation and support for “W20 JAPAN 2019 (*1) ” which is being held in Tokyo on March 23 and 24.
W20 JAPAN 2019 is the first international summit to be held in Japan by W20 (Women 20), one of the official engagement groups that propose policy recommendations relating to women for the G20(*2). During the W20 summit, government representatives and experts from all over the world get together to discuss issues relating to gender equality in international society.

(*2) In 1999 G7 financial ministers and central bank governors decided to establish the G20 and after that G20 was positioned as an international framework to cope with the financial crisis and continued growth. A summit is held every year.
(*3) Certification approved by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare to be given to companies significantly promoting women’s participation and advancement in the workplace that have applied based on the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace.
