Company Operations in Response to Partial Lifting of COVID-19 Imposed State of Emergency
Our sincere condolences to victims of COVID-19, and we hope for the quick recovery of those who have been infected. We also offer sincere gratitude towards healthcare professionals who are working at the forefront to treat patients, and everyone who is helping to support the community infrastructure.
Responding to the Japanese Government’s recent decision to lift the state of emergency in certain regions, PHC Holdings Corporation (headquarters: Tokyo, Japan) will be reopening several company sites from May 18. However, as we prioritize the safety of customers and employees, those who work at the sites in the prefectures not subject to the state of emergency, including those that are reopening, will continue to work from home as much as possible. When a customer visit is required, upon receipt of the customer’s consent, the visiting employee will strictly implement infection prevention measures such as temperature measurement, wearing of face masks, hand-washing, etc. At other sites in Japan where our offices remain closed, employees will continue to work from home, except in special cases where they perform essential duties that cannot be performed remotely.
