TOKYO, October 3, 2018 ― PHC Corporation (hereafter PHC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PHC Holdings Corporation (headquarters: Tokyo, Japan) has started research and development activities at Shonan Health Innovation Park*1 (hereafter, Shonan iPark.).
Shonan iPark is one of the R&D facilities of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited (headquarters: Tokyo, Japan), which is open to industry, government, and academia to foster innovation. With various companies participating, it is designed to accelerate ideas and developments utilizing state-of-the-art Life Science technologies and expertise based on pharmaceuticals drug development know-how. PHC will reinforce researching and developing products and solutions focused on cell therapies and regenerative medicine, making use of iPark’s advantages.
PHC offers value-added products and services for its three core businesses—Medical Devices, Healthcare IT, and Life Sciences. Looking at new medical trends including cell therapies and utilizing the open innovation environment offered by Shonan iPark, PHC contributes to realizing next-generation medicine by enhancing healthcare solutions development to meet the needs of researchers, healthcare professionals, and patients.
