PHC Corporation of North America
Wood Dale, IL – PHC Corporation of North America has introduced a new, high performance undercounter freezer designed to provide precise temperature control and uniformity. The PF-L5181W-PA meets CDC guidelines and maintains temperatures between -15°C and -25°C. It has been engineered to maintain a tight uniformity of ±5°C for storing critical vaccines and biologics whether the unit is loaded or empty.
The solid door design protects light-sensitive materials and uses environmentally friendly natural refrigerants to meet Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) guidelines and the AIM Act of 2020 for low global warming potential and no ozone-depleting substances. This model features evaporator shelving and forced air circulation within the chamber to ensure quick temperature pull-down upon startup and rapid recovery after door openings.
The PF-L5181W-PA undercounter freezer joins the growing selection of PHCbi brand undercounter units that are engineered to meet the strict regulatory guidelines of the CDC, ANSI, and NSF in a small footprint. They are designed to fit under most tables, cabinets and lab benches to ensure a functional workspace. The PF-L5181W-PA has an optional stacking accessory available to maximize storage capacity when space constraints become a concern. PHCbi brand undercounter refrigerators and freezers are purpose-built to protect vaccine and biologic viability. Models are available with glass door or solid door design, depending on needs, with ENERGY STAR® Certification and ADA compliance available on select models.
